'At least 42 people have died from an unrelenting heat wave that continues to bake a dozen US states from the Midwest to the East Coast.
The heat wave on Saturday sent temperatures soaring over 100 degrees Fahrenheit in several major cities in the area, including a record 105 F in Washington.Severe storms are expected to follow. This as hundreds of thousands of people are still without power because of the violent storms that swept the region one week ago.'
