India's Iron Lady Released, Rearrested, Still Fasting

'Indian civil rights activist Irom Chanu Sharmila, who has been on an indefinite fast for the past 11 years, has been rearrested on the charge of attempting to commit suicide.
Dubbed the 'Iron Lady' of the Indian state of Manipur, Sharmila was arrested on Tuesday only a day after she was released as her one-year prison term ended on Sunday. A local court remanded her in judicial custody for 15 days, describing her as a 'habitual offender.'
